2nd day celebration of 77th birthday of His Holiness The Dalai Lama at Bulach in Switzerland.

Among other guests, Minister for the Department of Religion and Culture of Central Tibetan Administration, Mr. Pema chhinjor la participated in the festivity.  Mr. Balthasar Glatti, Swiss Parliamentarian and Mr Mario Fehr, member of Swiss Regional Government also addressed the celebration.
A lively football tournament was also held at a playground nearby. 32 teams from 6 different countries in Europe took part in the competition. FC Potala was finally declared the winner followed by the runners up team of FC Goa.
In his address, Kalon Pema Chhinjor la expressed his happiness in seeing that the community is holding on strong to its Tibetan roots. He seemed especially pleased by the cultural performances of the younger generations. He applauded the perseverance and work of the community in their effort to stay united without losing their identity.
President of the Tibetan Community of Switzerland and Leichtenstein, Mr. Lobsang Gangshontsang, Geshe Thupten Legmen, abbot of Rikon Tibetan Monastery, Ven Thupten Wangchen, member of Tibetan Parliament, Mr. Tseten S Choekyapa, Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama also addressed the crowd among others.
It was the second day of the celebration, the first of which took place at the Rikon Monastery with a sangsol and prayer.
Various cultural performances were staged by the various sections of the Community. The celebration ended with drum beats of Gorshey at around 11.30 in the evening.
