Maha Guru Tsogbum Tschenmo of year 2015 has begun
Maha Guru Tsogbum Tschenmo, a yearly prayer festival for the long life of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, other high lamas from various traditions and for the prosperity of their kind hearted work for all sentient beings, has begun since yesterday for three days until 16th May 2015.
This time prayer also aimed for the victims of recent tragic disaster in Nepal, Tibet & India. To all sentient beings who lost life due to series of earthquake and to those who are sufferings as a result of it. Also to all Tibetans who has sacrificed their lives for the cause of Tibet.
The festival is organized by the Tibetan Community of Switzerland & Liechtenstein (TCSL) Thumi 16th legislation in collaboration with Rikon Tibet institute and Tsichu Tsokpa. The head lama invited this time is His Holiness Taklung Shabdrung Tenzin Gyurmey Rinpoche of Takung Kagyu.
The prayer was attended by over 300 people yesterday and around 200 people today, including Khen Rinpoche Thupten Legmon, honourable Paljor Kalon Mr. Tsering Dhundup la, Ex. European Tibetan parliamentarian, The President and Vice president of TCSL and Thumi members.
Coincidentally, today is also the birthday of Talkung Rinpoche. The President of TCSL, Mr. Tenzin Nyingpo la wish him best wishes with cake cuttings.
